Professional Profile

My experience in the last five years have taught me how to be approachable in all situations, I want my clients to feel welcome and that they are able to discuss with me anything that is playing on their mind without feeling judged or disliked. I believe I am able to provide a space for my clients that is serene and calm, helping them to feel relaxed and more open to sharing their thoughts.
From personal and professional experience, I have found the use of a therapy room for counselling a ‘safe’ environment. The sessions allow you to express yourself at a deeper level exploring areas of your mind or life whereby you may have some ‘unfinished business’.

Please feel free to give me a call to discuss how I can help you. If I’m not available please leave a brief message and I will get back to you. Alternatively, email to make an enquiry or arrange an initial assessment.

Training and Qualifications

I have a BACP accredited Advance Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling and I am a registered member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy- the professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists. I work accordance with BACP Ethical framework for good practice.

My approaches to psychotherapy fall into different categories of Humanistic, Integrative and holistic but primarily Psychodynamic. To help understand your experience from range of different perspectives and that suits with the work we do together.

I continue to progress further on professional and personal development.

I have over 10 years’ experience within the NHS, working with vulnerable and isolated individuals. Part of my role is to encourage patients to be independent and allow them to make choices of their health needs, and to support them back into the community. This has helped many patients to feel they are not alone and also making them aware what services are available to them.

Fees and Availability

Psychosexual Therapy

Psychosexual therapy is an integrative approach which combines talking therapy with behavioural therapy. It can take place on an individual basis or with a partner. It will involve an assessment of the sexual issue (including any associated medical factors) whilst exploring further how the relationship, sexual development and personal history may be affecting the sexual issue. Behavioural exercises may be discussed in the sessions, which will then be carried out at home to help the individual or couple address their sexual difficulties.
