Marion Sanders
Individual Therapist
I work from the person-centered approach with individuals, and hold a Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling with Distinction. I have previously worked as a counsellor in a variety of settings including a college, an LGBTQ mental health charity (London Friend) and as a Counselling Skills tutor. I currently work in private practise and for the ambulance service.
As a result, I have experience of working with a wide range of people, including different backgrounds, ages, cultures and identities. I am experienced in working with people on their journeys through a variety of issues, such as abuse, bereavement, bullying, depression, anxiety, identity issues, sexuality, gender, stress, trauma and work-related issues.
My aim is to provide you with a warm, safe and therapeutic environment, within which we can explore together your world and experiences. My empathy and care, along with my awareness and understanding of diversity is at the heart of how I work. I have a deep respect for your individuality and personal background. My approach is centred around acceptance and non-judgement, so you can be free to explore whatever it is you need to.
