Individual Therapist
Professional Profile:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on the interconnections between our thoughts, behaviour, emotions, and physiology. CBT can improve how we feel by adapting the way we think and behave.
As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, my role is to explore with individuals their current difficulties before supporting them to experiment with making changes to any unhelpful cognitive or behavioural patterns identified. Individuals set their own goals for therapy and we work towards these as a team - the client bringing expertise on their own unique experiences whilst I draw on the strong research base. I will always work without judgement and with great kindness.
I am trained to support a range of psychological challenges and will also integrate complementary approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness, where helpful.

- MSc in Psychological Therapies (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), University of the West of England (UWE)
